Do you accept returns and exchanges?

Children's Gowns & Adult Standard Size Pieces

For children's formal gowns and adult standard size pieces, returns and exchanges are accepted.

To initiate a return, select 'arrange a return' on the home page and follow the instructions that are sent to you within 14 days of receipt of the gown.

As long as the item is unworn (with the exception of trying on,) undamaged and returned with the original dress cover, together with the hanger, a refund will be issued to the original payment method used when making your purchase, unless a deposit has been made via a phyiscal appointment, in which case the deposit is non refundable.

Custom Size and Customised Gowns

Custom size and customised gowns are not eligible for a return or refund. All gowns are photographed thoroughly before sending.

If there is a fault with your item; after inspection of the return, I will only replace the item once.

For adult gowns, whether custom-sized or standard, it is advisable to have your measurements taken by a professional tailor or seamstress before placing an order.

For standard-sized gowns, it is strongly recommended that you compare your measurements with the corresponding size numbers shown in the size chart provided in each listing.

Can children's gowns be customised to size?

It is possible, however taking into account the rate of growth, particularly in young children, it is not recommended.

Who pays for the postage on returns?

I offer free returns for all UK based customers. Customers outside of the UK are responsible for return postage costs. Please use the 'arrange a return' form before you instigate a return.

Can you do alterations?

Certainly. The cost of the gown includes one round of in-house only alterations for all gowns over £500, which covers adjustments to make it shorter or more fitted. Please keep in mind that while I can make the gown smaller, I cannot make it larger. If any alterations are needed and unless collecting, the buyer will be responsible for the return shipping costs, but I will cover the cost of shipping it back to you after the alterations are complete at no additional charge.

This service is not available on sale items or during sale periods.

Third party alterations are not included and I cannot take responsibility for any alterations that have been made outside of this agreement.

Once a gown has been altered, it's important for you to note that if I've adhered to the mutually agreed-upon specifications, the gown cannot be declined. Additionally, as the gown will have been custom-made to meet your specific measurements, standard consumer laws don't apply. Consequently, unless the garment is defective or doesn't match your initial order, you do not have the right to return the product due to a change of heart.
